NFL Draft Articles

The NFL Draft postmortem has become a spectacle almost as large as the draft itself.  Fans across the nation celebrate the foundation of a future Super Bowl champion or wallow in their own perdition, depending on the talent their favorite franchise accumulated during the three day event.  One faction who takes particular interest each year is dynasty owners, who… Read Full Article

The first round of the 2013 NFL Draft is over.  And while the networks will be lamenting over Manti Te’O tumbling out of the first round, you should be looking for your fantasy football gems. It is true the first round of the draft was high on the so-called “fat boys”.  And you know what, these boys are bringing sexy… Read Full Article

Free agency has lost its luster.  The hype versus the reality was soft.  Yes, there were some surprises, Wes Welker leaving the warm embrace of Tom Brady heading to the Rocky Mountains.  Elvis Dumervil losing dollars and the good graces of the Denver Broncos because of fax-gate.  But the impact these will have on your fantasy team will be debated… Read Full Article

Fantasy football never stops and for that I am thankful.  The NFL Combine is over, for that I am still caught in conflicted thoughts of the Underwear Olympics.  The NFL Draft is almost here and for that I can hardly wait. Let’s talk football. This year promises to have a talented rookie class, predominantly on the defensive side.  That can only… Read Full Article

1. Indianapolis Colts select: QB Andrew Luck (Stanford) The most bulletproof quarterback prospect in years, Luck offers a unique blend of physical tools and intangibles that give him an incredibly high floor.  Assuming he even approaches the hype, Colts’ fans will be spoiled with a couple decades of solid to elite quarterback play.  Luck is the biggest no-brainer of a… Read Full Article

Name: Matt Kalil Height: 6’6 Weight: 306 School: Southern California Year: Redshirt Junior Draft Projection: 1st Round (3rd Overall) The true value of the left tackle is up for debate.  Some feel they’re pillars of a franchise, the second most important position after quarterback.  Others feel a good quarterback obviates the need for a top tackle.  Regardless, in a passing… Read Full Article

Andrew Englebrecht

Fairly new to the fantasy football community; I've been playing for 5 years and writing for the last year on and off. I don't get out much, but occasionally I enjoy a nice Belgian brew. I'm a Houston Texans fan living in the suburban wastelands outside of Chicago. I've only seen twelve movies in my life including Hitch, Iron Man 2, and My Cousin Vinny. Once I grow up I'll become a garbage man in Denmark, eat bacon hot dogs, and ride a bicycle to stay in shape.
